The Goal
My name is Olivia Prisco. As a school Honors project I am creating this website dedicated to my experience abroad. I studied in Sevilla, Spain, known for its romantic city center and rich history. I was a student at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, about a 30 minute commute from where I was living.
I want this website to be a place where other students can learn about the opportunities that come from learning abroad. My time spent in Spain is time I wish I could relive. I wanted to create this platform for students who may be nervous or unsure about going abroad to learn more and discover what going abroad truly means.
Main Takeaway:
"Going to Spain has made me feel so loved. I met some people who will remain in my life forever, and we talk almost everyday. We are spread across the country, some in Colorado, Tennessee, and Massachusetts, but I am so grateful to have gained some people I can now call my best friends. I learned so much about myself that I don't think I ever would have learned if I did not take the leap of studying abroad. Before leaving the U.S. I was terrified, but when it came time to leave Spain and all the friends I made, I was terrified again. I was scared of going back to reality and scared that I would not be as happy as I was when I was abroad. However, I will say, no matter how hard it was to leave Spain behind, I would study abroad a hundred times over. It was the happiest time of my life and I will hold these memories close to my heart forever."
